PRODUCT INFO
The rack mount for the KAT500 panel requires that the left and right side panels of KAT500 be replaced. The new left and right panels have captive nuts press fitted in the sheet metal. Replacing the side panels should be done with extreme care as incorrect re-assembly may cause damage to the units.
Once the side panels are replaced, the panel mount side brackets are installed to the KAT500 using the pan head screws. Then the unit is mounted to the machined front panel with the screws provided.
We recommend a Phillips #2 screwdriver 350mm long to facilitate mounting the screws to the front panel. Short length screwdrivers may cause cross threading of the threads in the panel if not done correctly and cause damage.
